SUNSET SONS
ANNOUNCE UK UNDERPLAY HEADLINE DATES
INCL. LONDON THE CAMDEN ASSEMBLY - JUNE 26, 2019
NEW SINGLE: ‘PROBLEMS’ - OUT MAY 17, 2019
Sunset Sons today announce a run of 4 UK underplay shows, including London’s The Camden Assembly on June 26, 2019. The shows - which follow up a November tour as special guests of Nothing But Thieves - are Sunset Sons’ first run of headline dates since a sold-out summer tour (for which tickets sold out in under 24 hours) in support of 2018 EP release ‘The River’ (which has since clocked over 2 million streams online), and arrive just ahead of summer festival dates including Truck Festival and Boardmasters. The tour announcement will be closely tailed by the release of a new single, ‘Problems’ - produced by Catherine Marks (The Big Moon, Foals) - on May 17, 2019, which can be pre-saved ahead of then from here. Tickets for the live dates will be on-sale from 9am on Friday May 10.
Following an intense period of song-writing and recording between their coastal base in Hossegor and London, ‘Problems’ will be the first taste of Sunset Sons’ forthcoming second album, the long-anticipated follow up to successful UK Top 30 debut ‘Very Rarely Say Die’, produced by Jacquire King and James Lewis, with airplay across Radio 1 and Radio X. Touring around that release saw Sunset Sons headline venues including London’s Koko and Shepherd’s Bush Empire, making next month’s run of shows a rare chance to catch the band in intimate-sized venues.
