Following the success of his critically-acclaimed 'Until Morning’ EP and selling out his debut headline shows at Omeara and The Jazz Cafe in London, emerging UK R&B artist James Vickery returned with his highly anticipated new single "Something Good". Accompanying this is another London headline show on Monday 2nd December at the Oslo. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 13th September from www.gigsandtours.com.
South London's James Vickery is the new face of UK R&B. With his hugely popular COLORS session amassing 14 million views, James caught the attention of many admirers internationally, subsequently leading to the London-born songwriter inking record and publishing deals with LA-based TH3RD BRAIN and Roc Nation respectively.
Vickery has already performed sold-out shows at London’s Omeara as well as the iconic Jazz Cafe in Camden. The strength of his live show, which he performs with a 4-piece band, even bagged him his first ever UK festival booking, a slot at Glastonbury 2019. With this momentum behind him, he is set to debut his live show in the US later this year. Creating consistent content including the new 'LIVE From London series' in which Vickery performs his songs with a full band in beautiful locations across his hometown, expect more videos around his creative process. Working on his debut album with everybody from Kenny Beats, Nate Fox, Pomo, NAO, SG Lewis and more, Vickery is going to hit the ground running with timeless, soulful R&B tunes that will 'grab you from the very first note'. Vickery's unmistakable voice and completely unique take on R&B despite being born deaf in his left ear, landed him as one of Complex's British R&B/Soul Artists to watch out for in 2019.
Catch him live at London Oslo on Monday 2nd December. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 13th September, available from www.gigsandtours.com
