Dylan John Thomas
Announces first headline UK Tour
Fresh from supporting Gerry Cinnamon across the UK and Europe, Scottish singer-songwriter Dylan John Thomas, announces his own headline UK and IRE tour.
Dylan said: ‘I’m buzzing about the shows. It’s my first headline tour since supporting Gerry Cinnamon and releasing my debut single. I met loads of people across the UK and Ireland, when I was supporting Gerry, and they were into the songs, so I’m looking forward to getting back out there. I’ve now got a rhythm section playing alongside me and I’m enjoying the different dynamic.’
Dylan is already setting records with his biggest headline show in his home town, Glasgow. His sold-out show in the iconic King Tuts venue is the fastest selling debut for a Scottish solo act in the venue’s history.
Dylan’s self-released debut single ‘Nobody Else’ delivers an uplifting yet heartfelt love song.
On ‘Nobody Else’, Dylan John Thomas said: ‘It is a song about that person that you can’t live without. I never had the best childhood but the happy memories I have really stem from music, like the feeling of winding a music box up and listening to the high melody, that’s what I am trying to capture in this song, that’s where the main riff comes from.’
