Speaking on Camp Bestival Dorset’s day split announcement, Camp Bestival curators Josie & Rob da Bank said: “Roll up roll up! Due to popular demand, we are ready to rock and roll with our Day Tickets for both Camp Bestivals. We create the festivals with love for a 4-day experience with camping but know that for various reasons some of you just want to come for the day. We have some epic day splits for your delectation and can’t wait to see you all in the fields”.
The birthday extravaganza begins on Friday 28 July with headline acts spanning from indie favourites The Kooks, to pop stars Ella Henderson and Sophie Ellis-Bextor. The Cuban Brothers will likely impress with both tunes and legendary outfits, and families can also look forward to appearances from Chris Packham, Dick & Dom, Mr Tumble and many more.
The special weekend will be closed by Craig David Presents TS5, Confidence Man and Jo Whiley’s Festival Anthems. The decks will see Todd Terry join all the way from across the pond, as well as Camp Bestival favourites Dub Pistols and Junior Jungle. Families can also experience a workout session with Mr Motivator, immerse themselves in Dolly Parton’s music with The Dolly Show, or try Cosmic Kids Yoga – Live with Jaime. 90s Pop star Melanie C is also set to perform, before the weekend closes with a fireworks spectacle.
